Performances and workshops were presented at universities, theatres and community centres nationwide. Performances explored issues of lesbian identity and community, and encouraged audiences to name their dreams and desires as a first step towards realizing them. The first Utopia Roaming tour, supported by the Astraea Foundation and the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art, traveled to 16 cities.
